Welcome to the new Shawnigan Lake Online web site! Though the site is now officially online, there are undoubtedly a few quirks here and there to iron out... If any part of the site is misbehaving, by all means let me know. Similarly, if you have any questions or suggestions for the site, please get in touch. Great job, Chris! I like the site's appearance, workability, photos, forums.

I look forward to the site's expansion and getting to know other SLBA members. In the meantime, keep up the good work! ;-)

Hello, my name is Jonathan Francoeur and I moved to Shawnigan Lake October 2009. I'm living at 1565 Baldy Mountain Rd (OUR eco village). I'm starting a busyness in edible landscaping. I hope that before I have kids there will be enough local food around to feed the community from the land that we see in our everyday lives.
I'm hosting a local food potluck here every Sunday at 5:30PM in the new kitchen building.
